David was formally trained in London and has over 25 years’ experience as a professional advertising, editorial and arts photographer. He photographs any subject matter but has a specialist reputation in interiors, architecture, industrial, products, people and stock.

David has developed an extensive local client base that features Byron at Byron, Northern Rivers Tourism, Gaia Retreat, Madura Tea, National Parks & Wildlife, Norco, TAFE NSW, Thursday Plantation, Utopia Advertising, North Coast Ad Agency, Cape Byron Imports, Byron Bay Cookie Co. Wildbite, Southern Cross University, SALT developments, Byron Bay Brewery, local councils, The Beach Suites, Byron Bay Resorts, NRCF, and many more.

David shoots for national lifestyle magazines which have included, House and Garden, Country Style, Vogue Living, Home Beautiful, Marie Claire, Belle, Interiors, Real Living, Inside Out, Gourmet Traveller, Delicious, Harpers Bazaar, Cleo, Good Weekend, Sunday Life, Coast, Womens Weekly, Womans Day, New Idea, She, GQ, Readers Digest, and Qantas and Virgin in-flight magazines.

His Sydney clients included CSR, Avon, Colgate Palmolive, Department of Consumer Affairs, Department of Agriculture and Fisheries, The Meat Board, Johnson & Johnson, Gazebo Hotels, Olympus Cameras, Blackmores, Boral, the Liberal Party and many high-profile architectural firms and advertising agencies such as George Patterson, DDB, Saatchi & Saatchi, Scali McCabe Sloves, McNaire Anderson and many others.
