I consider myself a colourist - giving emotion to my art through vibrancy of colour and light.

I am captivated by the wonderful light and colour we have in this part of the world.... I surf and enjoy our clean, clear ocean and am constantly challenged to capture that feeling of sunshine and warmth on canvas.

Weaving a dream into an invention

My work to this point has been quite experimental. I am self taught and enjoy creating abstract works that have an appealing sense of colour that will move the eye around in exploration, wonder and harmony. I like the idea of being able to communicate to others these colourful moments or puzzles that live in my mind that end up on canvas or paper.
