Louise Neall

I enjoy using various mediums and trying new things. Love drawing animals and people mainly.
I started with pencil, then turned to pen & ink drawings, then had a go with pastels, now I'm trying Acrylic paint and have had a go at a few small oil paintings.
I also tinker with wood carving and making beaded jewellery

My creations reflect my ever expanding view that the earth is a wonderful, insightful, research program to help my creative currency expand and prosper.

I am constantly inspired by people and faces, the trees(especially the trees), the animals, the ocean and the city, feeling that it is all a wonderful, insightful, research program to help my creative currency expand and prosper. My life is art, my inspirations are music, nature, color, shapes and light.

A facination with contemporary clays...

I am passionate about contemporary clays, polymer and precious metal clay, a revolutionary new medium, creating fine silver jewellery without the need for casting molten metals.

My ceramic endeavours include both functional and sculptural works. The functional forms incorporate contemporary design and classical surfaces, giving new life to ancient glazes.
