I consider myself a colourist - giving emotion to my art through vibrancy of colour and light.

I am captivated by the wonderful light and colour we have in this part of the world.... I surf and enjoy our clean,clear ocean and am constantly challenged to capture that feeling of sunshine and warmth on canvas.

I enjoy using various mediums and trying new things. Love drawing animals and people mainly.
I started with pencil, then turned to pen & ink drawings, then had a go with pastels, now I'm trying Acrylic paint and have had a go at a few small oil paintings.
I also tinker with wood carving and making beaded jewellery

I'm an illustrator/artist with a Diploma of Illustration from NMIT. I am able to work in a range of media, including digital and traditional, but my most loved medium is soft pastel. My style has been described as 'quirky', which I take as a compliment!
